About Matt

Matthew Yonally lives in Santa Barbara, California with his wife and son. He is a 30 year Wall Street veteran who is focused on giving back to the community, particularly in the areas of Christian outreach, education, healthcare, financial aid and cultural defense and enrichment.

Trained as an economist, Matt has visited over 40 countries and been impacted deeply by the differences in cultures and how they frame their approaches to solving economic, social, political and spiritual problems.  Involved in multiple non profits and boards, he’s been drawn to the reality that there are actually stories of great work being done in our time that are going unnoticed by most. Many times these are stories that need to be told.

The biblical truth that “to whom much is given, much is required” is a charge that was to be considered twenty centuries ago, just as it will be  twenty centuries from now. Matt believes in living out this concept, and that our abundance puts us in a unique position to be impacting in a world that is in desperate need.  Follow along on this blog as Matthew Yonally finds particularly noteworthy organizations and stories that share his vision and seek to make a difference in today’s challenging landscape.
